Purpose
To set out the policy and standard controls for refunds of payments made to the Grand Bahama Medical & Dental Association.
Refund Request
A request for a refund can be made by contacting us via email at gbmda@yahoo.com.
When requesting a refund via email, the customer is required to provide the relevant invoice or reference number, company name, date of the transaction, proof of payment and reason for the refund request.
All requests must be made within six (6) months.
Refund of Payment
If the refund request is approved, payment will be made within 15-30 business days. The customer can elect to have payment made via wire transfer by providing the necessary bank details.
If the refund request is not approved, the payment will be displayed as a credit on the respective account.
Ticket Delivery Method
Upon successful purchase, conference tickets will be delivered electronically to the email address provided during registration. Attendees should ensure the accuracy of their email addresses, as GBMDA will not be responsible for non-receipt of tickets due to incorrect information.
Digital Access to Tickets
Each electronic ticket will include a unique QR code or ticket number for entry. Please keep this information secure and accessible on your mobile device or printed for scanning at the conference check-in.
Ticket Re-Issuance
If you encounter any issues receiving your ticket via email, please contact our support team at gbmda@yahoo.com within 24 hours of purchase. Verification of purchase details will be required for re-issuance of tickets.
Non-Transferable Tickets
Conference tickets are personalized for each registrant and are non-transferable. Attendees may be required to show a valid ID that matches the name on the ticket at the entrance.
Entry Requirements
Each attendee must present their electronic or printed ticket at the entrance. Tickets may only be scanned once for entry, and re-entry may not be permitted unless specified by event policy.
Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
In case of event cancellation or rescheduling, ticket holders will be notified via email. Instructions for revalidation or refund of tickets will be provided based on our Refund Policy.
